Rock and Roll

These guys are like heading out to the highway and back into 1985! Listening to Trevolta is like the first time you dropped the needle on that first Van Halen record, or watched Judas Priest blow up MTV! These rockers bring more than just sound. They bring the party!! And they’ve brought it to every venue they’ve rocked: whether it’s Pittsburgh’s own Jergel’s Rhythm Grille, Hard Rock Cafe, the Crafthouse Stage & Grill… or whether it’s the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.

Trevolta boasts a huge selection of original tunes as well as covers, but whatever they play- be it their own “Wanted Man” or Deep Purple’s “Black Night”- the heads are always banging and the fists are always raised! Trevolta is truly Midwestern America, factory-town, workingman’s hard rock and heavy metal!

The Band

Austin Zarnick

Bass Guitar. Vocals.

Austin’s Rock & Roll tastes tend more toward the progressive side, but he has an eclectic musical palate, with influences beginning with Queen and stretching all the way to King Crimson. He has favorites in the middle like ELO and the progressive rock bands Yes and Alan Parsons.

He also plays upright bass with the high school orchestra and acoustic bass for fun.

Professionally he performs with a Fender American Ultra Precision Bass with a rosewood fret board for those warm rumbles. He compliments it with Gallien Krueger bass amp and cabs.

Jesse Mark

Lead Guitar. Lead Vocals. Lyrics.

Jesse leans way to the heavy side of Rock & Roll. Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Kiss, Yngwie Malmsteen and Judas Priest have been huge musical influences upon his style. His listening tastes are indeed eclectic however, with a deep love for classical and jazz music.

He has an affinity for classic movies and is an avid reader of all sorts of literature, which is evident in his songwriting.

Jesse plays Gibson and Fender Stratocaster guitars and uses Marshall amps.

Jason Brahler

Drums. Backing Vocals. Lyrics.

Jason has been playing drums since he’s been 10 years old. He fell in love with the instrument thanks to the drumming of Liberty DeVitto on Billy Joel’s “Angry Young Man” from the album Turnstiles.

Jason is into Led Zeppelin, Beach Boys and the Doors. His favorite live shows include Foo Fighters, The Black Keys, Boston and Styx.

His two favorite places to play as a band were the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland and Crafthouse Stage and Grill in Pittsburgh.

Jason plays Pearl Acrylic and Tama Drums with Remo heads, Meinl cymbals and Vic Firth 5b sticks.
